Superlife-316 is a patented product that combines a blend of acrylic resins and 316 stainless steel flake. It is water base, non-flammable and has a low VOC (39 grams per liter). This liquid stainless steel coating provides the maximum corrosion resistance and long term durability in both interior and exterior exposures such as metal transmission towers, cell towers, tanks, bridges, fences, piping and HVAC units. May be applied directly to properly prepared galvanized metal, tin, aluminum and concrete. Applications on bare steel require a primer. In applications on hydroelectric dams in the Pacific Northwest, Superlife-316 has been offering protection for over 25 years with no repainting. Wear to date indicates this paint will last an additional 25-30 years. USDA accepted. Available in metallic gray and limited other metallic colors.
